Muttaburrasaurus is Australia's most widely distributed dinosaur, known from both Queensland and New South Wales. It was first discovered near the town of Muttaburra in central Queensland.When it lived: Early Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Length: 7 to 8 metres long, which is the length of two average cars. Height: : 2.5 metres tall Weight: 2,800 kg Type of dinosaur: ornithopod dinosaur (which means ‘bird-footed’) |
